Pompano Beach, FL — Although there were three live tickets heading into the decisive fifth leg of the 50 cent Pick-5 on Sunday night (Dec. 21) at Pompano Park, Tyrone’s Showstopper (Dan Clements) pulled off the 30-1 upset and put a stop to the Pick-5 in the process.

Monday night’s (Dec. 22) program will now feature a $2,945 carryover, and track officials have placed an ‘instant guarantee’ on the pool of $10,000.

The 50 cent Pick-5 is a nightly wager covering races two–six.

Track officials have also stepped up the Pick-4 for Monday and Tuesday evening, which will feature a $7,500 guarantee.

Sunday night’s Pick-4 returned a healthy $5,286 for the 50 cent combination. The Pick-4 is a nightly wager covering races five–eight, featuring a reduced takeout of only 12 percent.

The 20 cent Jackpot Hi-Five continues to be a popular wager among patrons, with a $6,560 carryover heading into Monday evening. The Jackpot Hi-Five is offered on the final race of each program.

Monday night will feature a fantastic 11-race card, with mares taking the spotlight in the $12,000 Open Trot and the $14,000 Open Pace.

Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park on a five night per week schedule, with live racing every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evening.
