Roxane Griff, ridden by Eric Raffin, won the Prix Jules Lemmonier at Vincennes.

The victory was worth $65,000 and that brought her total earnings for 2014 up to $1,055,000 — or a half million more than number two on the list.

Roxane Griff now has lifetime earnings of $3.1 million and is the richest trotter of all time in France. Sebastian Guarato trains Roxane Griff, who is just as good in a sulky as under saddle.

In her last race before Saturday’s under saddle race, she finished third in the second test race for the Prix d’Amerique and she will race again next Sunday in the third test race, the Prix de Bourgogne, where she will meet USA representative Maven, driven by Yannick Gingras.

At Vincennes the best 2-year-old French trotters met and in the filly division Prix Une de Mai, raced over the 1-5/16 mile distance with a standing start, Classica du Ruel, driven by Franck Anne, won in 1:58.3 (mile rate). She hails from the first crop from the under saddle champion Scipion du Goutier.

Between the colts, who met in the Prix Emmanuel Margouty, Cristal Money (sired by Coktail Jet), driven by Thierry Duvaldestin, won in 1:59.
