East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands will open the 2014 fall meet this coming weekend with harness racing’s championship series, the $5.4 million Breeders Crown.

Entries for Friday (Nov. 14) and Saturday (Nov. 15) will be accepted by the Racing Office at 877.782.2537 until the box closes at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning (Nov. 11). A double-draw for both cards will be executed after the box closes.

Supporting races have been designed to complement the Breeders Crown, along with a slate of overnight races. The condition sheet and letter classification for overnight horses are available here.

It is imperative that trainers submit a new racing application for the fall meet, any application submitted previously is now void. Also, your stable roster will allow the Racing Office to award a letter to each horse for classification purposes.

It is recommended that horsemen subscribe to The Meadowlands text service for all racing announcements including classes that need more entries to fill, class changes, weather related issues and important travel and traffic information.
