Robert “Bobby” Miller, 73, dies

Columbus, OH — Longtime Standardbred owner Robert William “Bobby” Miller, 73, of Leburn, Ky., died Nov. 4, 2014, at the Florida Hospital Deland in Deland, Fla.

He was born in Archbold, Ohio, on Nov. 27, 1940, to Floyd William Miller and Pearl Wilma Leininger Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue (Gearig); daughters, Deborah, Kim (Billy Joe) Johnson, Kathy and Jennifer (Sammy) Maggard; grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon) Wireman, Ryan (Amber) Martin, Chad (Charley) Martin, Corey Clark, Cheyne (Hailey Allen), Shelby Maggard, Zackary Harmon, Madison Maggard, Maxwell and Abby Maggard; sister, Suzanne (Roger) Johnson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Don) Nine, Elaine (Phil) Rychener and Judi (Carl). He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Pearl Miller; parents-in-law, Willard and Ann Gearig; and son-in-law, Darrick Harmon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday (Nov. 10) at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Rob Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at the Maggard Family Cemetery at Leburn, Ky. Friends may call for visitation at the chapel on Saturday (Nov. 8) from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday (Nov. 9) from 4-9 p.m.
