Northfield, OH — Despite making a break in the first turn, Fridayscomin was able to rebound and post a convincing win in the $15,000 Election Night Series final in the 10th race on Tuesday (Nov. 4) at Northfield Park.

Fridayscomin posted a 1:57.4 win in the $15,000 Election Night Series final on Tuesday at Northfield Park.

He is trained by Roeleta Stutzman for owner Kenneth Hostetler. Robin Miller was in the sulky.

Fridayscomin (Full Count-My D Red) started from the rail and was leading in the first turn when he made a break. He was fifth at the quarter, which was clocked in :28.3, before rallying again in the second quarter, taking the lead and never looking back.

He completed the mile, posting fractions of :59.1, 1:28 and 1:57.4 and was 5-1/4 lengths in front as he crossed the wire. Completing the race were Special Purpose, Chad, Spec T, Echo’s Pearl, Southerncloudburst, American Blitz, Sammy Sammy Sammy and Dream Crazed.

Tuesday’s win was the fourth victory this year in 15 starts. It bolstered his career win tally to seven and his lifetime earnings to $36,781. He was heavily favored and returned $3.40 to win.
