Terry Millhoan survives inquiry, wins ‘Pink Out’ at The Meadows

Washington, PA — When 10 female drivers went head to head Saturday (Nov. 1) in The Meadows’ annual “Pink Out” to benefit breast cancer awareness, supporting an important cause was the major objective. But it still was a horse race, with $6,100 up for grabs, and all the rules applied.

The drivers gathered for a winner’s circle presentation following Saturday’s ‘Pink Out’ to benefit breast cancer awareness at The Meadows.

So it was appropriate when the judges flashed the “Inquiry” light and reviewed possible interference down the backside. But the order wasn’t disturbed, and Terry Millhoan, piloting Woodruff, was certified as the winner. Completing the ticket were Tabatha Canarr (Gambler Springs) and Rachel Kaneoka (Fortissimo), who saw her two-race winning streak in the event snapped.

Also competing in the Pink Out, which was coordinated by the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association, were Janet Irvine, Danita Harvey, Kathryn Hawk, Sabrina Clevenger, Sharon Donella, Joelene Christman and Leslie Zendt.
