Fredericksburg, OH — Dublin Valley Farms has announced that Southwind Spirit (Muscle Hill-Spice On Ice) 2,1:54.1 ($377,495) will be standing his first season at stud in 2015.

This son of Muscle Hill set his record of 1:54.1 as a 2-year-old in the American-National on a sloppy track, winning by 11-1/4 lengths at Balmoral Park. Southwind Spirit was also the 2013 Kindergarten Classic champion, raced at Vernon Downs. Southwind Spirit was race timed in 1:53.1, losing by a nose at Lexington as a 2-year-old.

Southwind Spirit’s dam, Spice On Ice, is also the second dam of world champion Mission Brief (Muscle Hill-Southwind Serena) 2,1:50.3-’14 ($328,570).
