Jason Brewer recorded his 3000th win on Saturday night at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.

Brewer, 36, has earned just a shade under $25 million for the owners of horses he has driven. He won his first race, one limited to amateur and matinee drivers, at Monticello Raceway at the age of just 14. The Xenia, Ohio resident has won well over 100 races in each of the last twelve years, including a high-water mark of 505 triumphs in 2007. The likeable reinsman counts a stakes win at Woodbine with St Lads Popcorn, going for a $300,000 purse, as his career highlight.

Racing resumes at Hollywood Dayton Raceway on Wednesday night with the normal 6:35 p.m. post time.
