Woodstock, VA — It’s that time of year again for the Shenandoah County Fair which kicks off on Aug. 22.

The age old tradition of harness racing returns to the Shenandoah half-mile oval on Wednesday (Aug. 27) and runs through Saturday (Aug. 30). Entries will be accepted by phone or in person and the entry box will close two days prior to the scheduled race day at 11 a.m.

As usual there will be charted lines for the races and the condition sheet is now available and may be viewed here. If you need a hard copy you can contact the race office at 540.459.7203.
