Clarence Levan, 78, dies

Columbus, OH — Clarence A. Levan, 78, of Lebanon, Ohio, died July 29, 2014, in Franklin, Ohio.

He was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Stoutsville, Ohio, to the late Charles and Rosa (Strausbaugh) Levan.

Mr. Levan was the owner of Cedar Valley Plastics before retiring. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years.

A former member of the USTA, he was an avid fan, owner, and breeder of Standardbreds for several decades.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janice (Stebelton); daughters, Geri (Chuck) Conner and Susan Carter; son, Doug (Sheri); grandchildren, Joby Carter, Dusty Carter, Stefanie Vandiver, Tommy and Maia Conner; great-grandchildren, Alexis Vandiver, Tristan Vandiver and Riley Carter; and sister, Leota Swann.

Private graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery, in Stoutsville, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda.
