Spring Mixed catalog now online

from Tattersalls Sales Co.

Lexington, KY — The sale catalog and past performances for the Meadowlands May 18 Spring Mixed Sale are now available for download on the Tattersalls website, www.tattersallsredmile.com.

The catalog and racelines may be downloaded in their entirety as PDF files, or users may wish to view individual horses from the sortable sale roster. The catalog will be available on the Equineline sales catalog app for iPad users later this week.

This new Tattersalls venue is strictly a racehorse sale, and 105 head in all have been cataloged.

This year — and in years to come — the sale will feature 2-year-olds in training, and 22 have been entered for this inaugural edition. The freshman pacers and trotters will train for prospective buyers and other interested parties on Friday (May 16), after the morning qualifiers at the Meadowlands.

“I’m very pleased with both the number and quality of the 2-year-olds that have been entered, and I think that segment of the market is sure to grow in the years ahead,” said sale manager David Reid. “Now that yearling buyers know there will be a serious 2-year-old market next spring for any yearlings they’d like to pinhook, I think that venture should begin to take hold.”

Reid added that racehorse buyers will also be impressed with the quality of the 3-year-olds and older horses in the sale.

“Many are not only currently racing at the major tracks — they’re winning,” he added.

The Spring Mixed print catalog and racelines will mail by the end of this week, and supplements will be accepted until May 9. Those wishing to enter supplements or request a print catalog and racelines should call the Tattersalls office at 914.773.7777 or visit their website.
