Fund set up to assist Marty Woebkenberg

by Dee Woebkenberg

Lebanon, OH — Marty Woebkenberg has been a passionate and lifelong horse trainer, driver and blacksmith. He was the identifier and blacksmith at Lebanon Raceway for 18 years and the paddock judge at Scioto Downs for four years.

Woebkenberg was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma non-Hodgkin cancer on Jan. 7. Due to his illness, he is unable to work while undergoing chemotherapy treatments, which are expected to last approximately six months, with possible radiation treatments to follow.

Woebkenberg does not currently have health insurance or an income. To assist him with his medical expenses during his inability to work, there has been a savings account set up at Fifth Third Bank.

If you would like to make a contribution please contact any Fifth Third Bank. The account name is “For the Benefit of Martin (Marty) Woebkenberg”, account number ######5498.

If you have any questions, please contact his sister, Dee, at 937.789.1223.

We appreciate your prayers and support.
