Lexington, KY — Services will be held on Monday (Jan. 6) in Lexington, Ky., for Myrna Sholty, 74, the widow of Hall of Famer George F. Sholty, who died Dec. 19, 2013.

The service will begin at 10 a.m. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 E. Main St., in Lexington, with a procession to the cemetary following the service. Family and friends will gather at 12 Noon at The Red Mile with food and drinks provided.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stable of Memories, a 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to preserve the Round Barn adjacent to The Red Mile. Mrs. Sholty was a member of the board of the Stable of Memories. Donations may be sent to Stable of Memories, 1520 Lexington Rd., Georgetown, KY 40324.
