Dover, DE — During the Thursday (Dec. 19) card, horsemen and friends congregated in the Dover Downs winner’s circle to show the success of the fourth annual Horsemen’s Christmas Drive Fund.

Led by Dover Downs trainer Janet Davis, who founded and has led the humanitarian effort, the fundraiser has enlarged to cover 130 families in need and 680 children in a three county drive.

Again, in the holiday spirit, Dover Downs horsemen alone have contributed to 60 needy families and 250 youngsters in the Operation Christmas Wish portion of the drive. Already, $1,000 was contributed to the Food Bank of Delaware.
