Chicago, IL — Night School, the racing industry’s national online fan education program, continues its big-event previews with discussion of the Bank of America Racing Challenge Championships, the AQHA’s version of the Breeders’ Cup and Breeders Crown, at www.ustrotting.com on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. (EST).

The first hour of Night School will spotlight the six title races of the Racing Challenge Championships that will be held Saturday at Los Alamitos Racecourse. During the final 30 minutes, the “Jump Ball” portion of Tuesday’s interactive chat will include a recap of this past weekend’s Breeders’ Cup where fans can share their stories and memories.

Tuesday’s Challenge Preview feature American Quarter Horse racing experts Martha Claussen, Chris Wade and Jerry Shottenkirk on the panel. The lesson will be hosted by Night School’s Jeremy Plonk, a former AQHA chart caller for Equibase.

Claussen spearheads the AQHA’s Racing Aces fan education program; Wade is the in-house simulcast handicapper at Los Alamitos; and Shottenkirk is Remington Park’s official track morning line maker and a Horse Player NOW AQHA handicapping expert.

Horseplayers new to American Quarter Horse Racing will be treated to a series of educational video vignettes, the FAQ :60 series, as well as some basics of AQHA handicapping among the discussion.

Fans can take part in the class free by visiting any one of the 40-plus websites that provides the Night School lessons each week. For those who cannot attend live, the Night School archives always are available free, immediately following the session and beyond. Night School is offered every Tuesday for 40 consecutive weeks through Dec. 3. Topics change weekly, and fans are eligible for prizes and rewards for registering. Registration is optional and free. There is never a charge for taking part in Night School.

This week’s Night School will be followed at 10 p.m. (EST) by the “After Night School Special,” featuring live racing from Mountaineer Park. The segment will cover the evening’s final two races in real time with free, live-streaming video.
