A Go Go Lauxmont, 28, dies

Columbus, OH — Top racehorse and prolific sire A Go Go Lauxmont was euthanized Thursday night (Aug. 29) as a result of colic.

The 28-year-old son of Balanced Image-Lauxmont Au Fait raced three years (1987-1989) and posted 17 wins in 36 lifetime starts, with earnings of $299,881.

As a sire, he stood in Ontario, Michigan, New York and Indiana. He sired 584 horses, 354 of which made it to the races. His offspring banked more than $14.8 million. Arva Crest Ago Go was both his richest and fastest foal, with $806,487 in earnings and a mark of 1:54.3s.
