Batavia, NY — When racing resumes at Batavia Downs on Wednesday night (Aug. 14) the Pick-4 pool will once again be guaranteed at $3,000, part of the USTA Strategic Wagering Program.

The Pick-4 begins on race three. Program pages are available free of charge through the USTA website, www.ustrotting.com, courtesy of TrackMaster. The Pick-4 is a 50 cent minimum wager.

During week one of the strategic wager at the Downs the entire pool was taken down by one lucky ticket holder who purchased the winning ticket at a Rochester Area EZ-bet location.

Wednesday night’s entire 12-race program will be broadcast live on Time-Warner Cable, Channel 98 in Rochester and surrounding areas.

On-track patrons that wager a minimum of $10 (at the same time) on the Pick-4 will receive $10 back in gaming free play.

The Wednesday program gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
