Severe weather forces Wednesday cancellation at Balmoral

Crete, IL — After severe thunderstorms rolled through the area just moments before the first race of the night was about to hit the track, Balmoral Park was forced to cancel its Wednesday night program.
Citing unsafe conditions due to the storm Balmoral Park management and horsemen agreed to cancel the 10-race program at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Live racing will resume at Balmoral Park on Saturday, June 15. Post time will be 7:10 p.m.
