Beverly Maynard, 76, dies

Columbus, OH — Beverly J. Maynard, 76, died May 30, 2013, in the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 30, 1936, in Rochester, N.Y., to Gottfried and Mildred (Nicholson) Graden and had lived in the area most of her life.

Mrs. Maynard was an avid bingo player, loved camping, birds of all kind, reading and puttering in her flower beds. As a Standardbred trainer with her husband, they were active members in the USTA.

Mrs. Maynard was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Sr.; brothers, Robert Graden and William Graden; and sister, Carol. She is survived by her children, Warren (Peggy Coonrod), Mark (Dona) and Aletamarie (Wayne) Martin, Jr.; sisters, Wilma, Joyce, Kathy, Judy and Gail; aunt, Shirley Eno; grandchildren, Jared, Sheena and Michael; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in Concordia Lutheran Church-Kendall on Saturday (June 8) at 6 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center or the Kendall Ambulance Fund.
