Olga Snyder, 90, dies

Columbus, OH — Olga D. Snyder, 90, of Batavia, N.Y., died May 18, 2013, at United Memorial Medical Center.

She was born August 31, 1922, in Dunkirk, N.Y., to the late Thomas R. and Frances (Larsen) Coleman.

Mrs. Snyder and her late husband, Lester, owned and trained Standardbreds for many years.

She enjoyed crafts, gardening and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her children, Thomas C. (Carol) Brown, Margaret A. “Peg” (late Robert) Wetzel and Susann (Bruce) Welka-Passe; grandchildren, Lori (Bob) Brumsted, Warren (Mindy) Welka, Karen (Michael) Vallese, Dawn (Wayne) Donnelly and Robyn (Adam) Benner; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald R. Coleman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
