Plainville, MA — The opening day of the 2013 season at Plainridge Racecourse is Monday (April 15), which is the Patriot’s Day holiday in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Among the festivities to take place during the card will be a dinner sponsored by the Harness Horsemen’s Association of New England. The buffet style meal, which will take place in the clubhouse, is a fundraiser for the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of Massachusetts. The event is open to the public and all interested parties are urged to support this worthy cause.
