Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, April 5, 2013

Last week’s results: On Friday last week I lost $12. I had two of the winners but was out after the first leg when my single In Focus lost. On Saturday I started out with a $56.80 winner in Valentino in the first leg but that was all I had in a Pick-4 that paid more than $31,000 and had three longshot winners. I dropped $48 on the Saturday Pick-4.

Analysis:

Race 7: The final for the Dash For The C Notes is a wide open trot. I am using all four of my contenders, (1) Blomkvist, (2) Mr Fenwick, my top pick (6) Paisley, and (7) B L Class Act.

Race 8: (7) If I Didn’t Care is a legit favorite off a sharp uncovered effort but I’m also going to use longshot (2) Dream’s Bar here.

Race 9: I singled (8) In Focus against a tougher field last week and he lost by four lengths and I’m going to single the millionaire again. He makes his second start off a layoff and takes a key drop.

Race 10: This C-2 trot is wide open so I’m using all four of my listed contenders, (2) Cantabulous, (6) Caitir, (8) Buzz Bomb and (9) Baltimor As.
