Washington, PA — Veteran trainer/driver Rod Bolon was injured Friday morning (March 22) in a training mishap at The Meadows and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for observation and treatment.

Horsemen at the scene described Bolon, 54, as conscious and alert following the incident.

The Meadows will provide an updated story once more details are known.
