Alfonso Pellegrini, 76, dies

Columbus, OH — Alfonso Pellegrini, age 76, of New Egypt died Wednesday, February 13 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills, NJ. Born in Ari, Italy, he was a resident of Northville, Michigan, before moving to New Egypt eight years ago.

Al was a retired bricklayer with Navetta Masonry in Northville, MI. He enjoyed harness racing and going to the Meadowlands and Freehold and also enjoyed old cars.

Al was predeceased by his parents, Rocco and Antonia Pellegrini. He is survived by his wife Margaret L. (Fox) Pellegrini; a son, Al Pellegrini and wife Joellen Batchelder of New Egypt; two daughters, Michelle Pellegrini of Jackson, MI and Lisa Cornnish-Pellegrini and husband Larry of Munith, MI; eleven grandchildren, Jonathon, Joshua, and Joey Batchelder, Anthony Pellegrini, Ashley Conaway. Jennifer Pellegrini, Eric Pellegrini, Vikki Pellegrini, Ari Cornish, Larry Cornish and Kevin Conaway and five great grandchildren, Brianna Pellegrini, Samantha Batchelder, Nicklas Batchelder AJ Pellegrini and Sully J. York.

Calling hours for Al will be held on Tuesday, February 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will be private.
