Wallkill, NY — Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill, N.Y., welcomes world champion Archangel to its stallion ranks in 2013.

A winner of $906,579, Archangel won the 2012 Yonkers Trot in a world record time of 3,1:54.1h (without trotting hopples), beating the heavily favored Googoo Gaagaa and Market Share. He was also victorious in the elimination and final of the Empire Breeders Classic (setting a stakes record in the final of 1:53.1s and eclipsing the track record set by Deweycheatumnhowe), Tompkins-Geers, Kentucky Futurity elimination and numerous New York stakes. He was also second in his elimination of the Hambletonian, timed in 1:52.4.

Archangel is by Credit Winner and he is the first foal out of multiple stakes winner Michelle’s Angel 3,1:54 ($436,921). Michelle’s Angel is an Andover Hall daughter of 2-year-old Dan Patch Award Trotting Filly of the Year Almost An Angel 3,1:56 ($498,577).

Owned by Alan Hainsworth, Clare Semer and Peter Arrigenna, Archangel was trained by Arrigena.
