DSBF $100,000 frosh filly pace tops Tuesday card at Dover

Dover, DE — Inittowinafortune is the one to beat in the $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders (DSBF) Two-Year-Old Filly Pace Final on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Dover Downs. First post is 4:30 p.m.

After two weeks of preliminaries, the top eight point-getting fillies clash in the rich final. Inittowinaforture, driven by Tim Tetrick for owners Daryl Bier and Charley Dombeck has consecutive victories the last two weeks and seven wins, two seconds and two thirds in 12 career starts. Ben Stafford and Randall Stafford III By Design has won two of his last three starts and will be driven by Art Stafford Jr.Ron Davis’ Grace Of An Angel won her last DSBF start with George Dennis driving the wire-to-wire win.

Among the other starters, Floyd Pratt’s Lookout Stokk Zone with Corey Callahan pulled a 27-1 upset last Tuesday. Diane and Joel Halpern’s Bags of Stars was a strong second in both of his prelims. Ross Wolfenden will drive Little Miss B for Majorie Richards and Judith Leonard. Bill Rohrer’s Dream M Ezy will leave from the rail with Tony Morgan) while Blush With Pride, owned by trainer Ben Stafford and Winbak Farm and driven by Ben Stafford must overcome starting from outside post 8.

The sub feature is the $20,000 DSBF consolation. A pair of fillies bred by Garnet O’Marrow with Seboomook surnames head the field of eight. Legacy Racing Of DE’s Seboomook Pandora (Corey Callahan) drew the rail and is the program favorite. O’Marrow’s own Seboomook Boo Yah (All Davis) is one of the leading contenders. Scott Woogen’s KJ’s Caroline (Vic Kirby) and Jim Wilson’s Ally Wishes (Tony Morgan), both finished third last week.

The rest of the consolation starters are Tommy N Dakota Stables’ Day Dreamin Dragon (Art Stafford Jr.); Bryan Truitt-owned and driven Women Rule; Howard Birney’s Amelia Bluedelia (Roger Plante) and Friendsnheartbeat (Eddie Davis Jr.), owned by breeders Norma Messick and Tim Torbert, from post 8.
