Nancy Lisi and Spinning For Gold were in the Lisbon Horse Parade.

In speaking with Lisi after the parade she said that at first Spinning For Gold wanted to race the other horses that were in the parade but quickly learned that it was not a race and settled into a nice walk.

Lisi said that it was a blast and she plans on doing it again next year and she hopes others from harness racing will join her. She also did a good will effort and picked up another participant’s pony and transported him to the parade; otherwise the pony would not have made it.

The Baltimore Sun has a video of the parade on their website and they also have a photo gallery.
