The Onlyest One was one of five winners for driver Corey Callahan.

A 3-year-old altered son of Bettor’s Delight-Canaco Lily, bred and trained by Freida Ivory and co-owned by Ken Mitchell, The Onlyest One fought off a determined bid from Art’s On Fire (George Dennis) and three-wide Pastor Jack (Matt Kakaley) at the three-quarters before pulling away in deep stretch for his fourth success of the year saw his purses climb to $37,325 in 2012. Fast Back Eddie (Ron Pierce) closed between horses to edge Pastor Jack for second.

In a Delaware $20,000 claiming allowance pace, Doris Fuller’s Political Terror stepped up in price and returned to the winner’s circle for the eighth time this year, posting a 1:53.4 victory. The Western Terror-Politicklish 5-year-old, conditioned by Kevin Lare, lost his previous start by a nose after winning his previous seven races. Ross Wolfenden steered the win with Don’t Fool Me Now (Jim Morand) second. Brisk Clipper (Vic Kirby) was the show finisher.

In addition to five wins for Callahan and George Dennis’ three, Walter Callahan had a training double.
