Check Me Out is still No. 1 in the Poll

Freehold, NJ — Check Me Out strengthened her hold on the No. 1 spot in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll thanks to defeating older male trotters from post nine in the Open at Tioga Downs last week.
Chapter Seven, who was idle, remained second and Market Share, who won his second million-dollar race of the year by capturing the Canadian Trotting Classic, jumped from sixth to third.
Betterthancheddar, who won the Quillen Memorial on Monday night — after the regular voting period — with a world-record-equaling performance, slipped to fourth.
There were no newcomers to the poll.
