DRF to offer full-card live video from Balmoral, Delaware County Fair

from the Daily Racing Form

In a continuing effort to offer harness fans the most in-depth coverage of the sport and to cross-promote harness racing to Daily Racing Form’s Thoroughbred fans, Daily Racing Form will be streaming live video for Balmoral’s Super Night on Saturday (Sept. 15), and the Jugette and Jug cards from the Delaware County Fairgrounds on Wednesday (Sept. 19) and Thursday (Sept. 20).

All three racing cards will be presented via custom event pages on www.DRF.com encompassing all aspects of the action. The Balmoral page, which is already active, offers video analysis from DRF’s Derick Giwner and Balmoral’s Tom Kelley, full-card analysis from Jeremey Day, features on some of the Super Night participants, and more.

These events pages are designed to create a one-stop experience, from past performances to placing a wager on DRFBets. To date, DRF has worked hand-in-hand with New Meadowlands, The Meadows, Harrah’s Philadelphia, Mohawk, Tioga, and others to bring the racing experience to your fingertips.

DRF digital’s coverage of harness racing has hardly been limited to special events. The harness division has recently added freelance analysts to cover the Woodbine/Mohawk circuit and Balmoral on a daily basis. You can find free full-card daily analysis from Greg Gangle and Jeremey Day each racing day.

The DRF Harness Eye past performances have also been enhanced over the last week. The print image has been increased to completely fill each page and create an easier-to-read and more user friendly product. And, Harness Eye’s exclusive race commentary has been expanded to include coverage of Balmoral. Only DRF Harness past performances provide custom racing commentary from a growing list of tracks, including New Meadowlands, Yonkers, Harrah’s Philadelphia, Mohawk/Woodbine, Monticello, and Freehold.

“DRF is committed to offering the best Standardbred content on the web,” said Managing Editor Derick Giwner. “Since diving into the harness market in January we have made great strides and I would expect bigger and better things are still in our future.”

Daily content from DRF Harness can be found at www.drf.com/harness. Past performances are available at www.drf.com/harnesspps. You can also follow them via Twitter and Facebook.
