Harness Handicapping Challenge turning for home

from TrackMaster

Mountain View, CA There are only two qualifying rounds left of the TrackMaster Harness Handicapping Challenge. The final round is shaping up to be a battle of the sport’s best handicappers, where $3,500 in cash prizes will be awarded. The second to last chance to earn yourself a seat in the finals is this coming Saturday, with contest entries opening on Thursday at 3PM Eastern time.

Last week’s top qualifier “moelarrythecheese” used his knowledge at Scarborough downs to cash in on 5 winners out of 10 selections and score the high bankroll. His biggest score was a $34.40 winner named THE WINDSURFER A in the first race last Saturday. The unique aspect of this contest is that everyone can choose exactly which tracks, races and horses they want to wager on. This gives everyone a chance to play the tracks they know.

The final round is fast approaching on Hambletonian Day on August 4. Don’t miss out on your chance to be part of the action and show off your skills! TrackMaster will be providing free handicapping products, a different one each week, to support the contest.

Co-sponsored by TrackMaster, TVG and the USTA, the format of the challenge is pretty simple. There will be eight weeks of qualifying rounds with each Saturday a brand new chance to play and earn a spot in the finals. You’ll have a contest bankroll of $500 to make exactly 10 wagers of $50 each on horses to win. You’ll have the ability to pick and choose from any harness tracks, races and horses you like (US and Canada only).

The finals will be comprised of 30 players, the top three bankrolls from each of the weekly rounds plus six wildcards rewarding frequent and successful players. The wildcards are the three players who pick the most winners (minimum odds 1-1), and the highest ROIs (minimum 50 plays). Remember, there is no requirement to play every round and each week you get a fresh bankroll to wager.
