Meadows, MSOA host successful Back to the Track event

Washington, PA — The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association wishes to thank everyone that was involved in what proved to be a highly successful Back to the Track event this past Saturday.

A large crowd turned out and produced the largest non-Adios Day on-track handle in quite some time.

One of the most popular attractions proved to be the dunk tank, which featured drivers Mike Wilder, Aaron Merriman, Greg Wright Jr., Kyle Bolon, Brad Provost and Andrew Naser.

Race Secretary Tom Leasure also took his turn in the tank, much to the delight of horsemen. Also taking his turn getting dunked was Track Chaplain, Pastor Joe DiDonato, who wore a suit for the event. The MSOA hopes it was wash-and-wear.

There were lengthy lines as everyone wanted to take their shot at their favorites.

Again, we thank everyone for participating not only in the dunk tank, but also the other Back to the Track events, including jog cart rides, backstretch tours and more.

The event was a great prelude to our upcoming Grand Circuit Week, which kicks off this Saturday (July 21), with eliminations for the Adios Pace for the Orchids.
