Columbus, OH — Gary Kriz, 67, of Jeffersonville, N.Y., died June 11, 2012.

Mr. Kriz was a longtime trainer/driver, having raced at Roosevelt Raceway, Liberty Bell, Pocono Downs, Yonkers and Monticello Raceway. Some of the horses he raced were Sparkling Rum and Tom Town.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Elaine Cernik; children, Gary Jr., Bobby and Terri; and a grandchild, Ryan.
