Stallions announced for Racetrack Chaplaincy auction

The Racetrack Chaplaincy of Canada is pleased to announce an outstanding line-up for its second annual stallion breeding auction, headlined by 2008 Hambletonian winner and Trotter of the Year Deweycheatumnhowe.

Eleven of North America’s premier Standardbreds will be available to bid on from Jan. 25-29. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Racetrack Chaplaincy of Canada Ontario Standardbred Division.

This year’s list appears in alphabetical order and includes each stallion’s 2012 advertised stud fee: Amigo Hall (C$4,000), Armbro Deuce (C$5,000), Cornaro Dasolo (C$2,000), Deweycheatumnhowe ($20,000), Major In Art (C$5,000), Mr Lavec (C$3,000), Royal Mattjesty (C$4,500), Sir Luck (C$1,500), Stonebridge Regal (C$4,000), Striking Sahbra (C$3,500) and Windsong Espoir (C$3,500).

All stallions will accept bids in Canadian funds with a $500 non-refundable Canadian deposit required after being informed as successful bidder.

Bidding will close at staggered times on Sunday (Jan. 29), with auctions ending between 5-6 p.m. (EST).
