Columbus, OH — Joseph G. Gerrard, 88, of Vernon Center, N.Y., and more recently of the Martin Luther Home, died Jan. 17, 2012.

Mr. Gerrard was a longtime member of the USTA and was involved in the sport as an owner/trainer/driver.

He is survived by his former wife and dear friend, Grace; children, Wendy (Robert) Boyd, Grant, Mark, Sharon (Christopher) Courson and Cheryl; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday (Jan. 28) at 11 a.m. in the Katherine Luther Chapel, 108 Utica Road, Clinton, N.Y. Arrangements are with the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., Vernon, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Martin Lutheran Care Home.
