Marketing opportunity offered by Harness Racing Museum

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — In order to continue to share “A Drive to Win” with the harness racing community and others, the Museum is actively seeking interested parties to underwrite this award-winning exhibit.

The project provides a unique opportunity for sponsors to identify with the sport by partnering with the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame to promote and celebrate their passion for and commitment to the sport of the Standardbred through this very special traveling exhibit.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is dedicated to comprehensive, active and authoritative support and promotion of the American-born sport of harness racing and the Standardbred horse industry. One of the most important ways this is accomplished is through the Museum’s free traveling exhibitry.

In 2008 the Museum introduced the traveling exhibit, “A Drive to Win.” Operating costs for the past three years have been underwritten by Hanover Shoe Farms. The presentation, which consists of 30 framed posters, celebrates the drivers and trainers who make every race possible, but through circumstance, choice, design or fate, did not rise to stardom.

Since its inception, more than 300,000 fans at county fairs and racetracks from California to Maine, from Saratoga to The Red Mile, at the Little Brown Jug and the Hambletonian Stake have enjoyed “A Drive to Win,” and its popularity shows no signs of abating. Evocative, informative and sentimental, it remains a favorite with both veteran harness racing fans and newcomers to the sport.
