Masteroftheclass gave driver Mickey Holliday his first career win.

Holliday is the son of Ken and Sherri Holliday. His sister, Ashley, is the Batavia Downs Parade Marshal.

Leaving from post six, Holliday pulled Masteroftheclass first up and they went on to a 2-1/4 length win in 1:59.4. The win was Masteroftheclass’ first of the season in 31 starts. He returned $18.00.

“I’m on cloud nine,” Mickey Holliday said. “I want to thank my dad for teaching me everything he knows, my mom for letting me drive her horse and Danny Clark for giving me the opportunity.”

Mickey Holliday obviously had a good teacher. His dad, Ken Holliday, has won 5,078 races and his drives have earned more than $20 million.
