Mc Attaboy is fastest in Reynolds at Pocono

Wilkes-Barre, PA — Mc Attaboy burned his way to his third straight win to start his career and posted the night’s fastest time among the 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers in the W.N. Reynolds Memorial stakes races on Tuesday night (July 12) at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Tuesday night’s Reynolds races were the culmination of Grand Circuit Week at the track.

There were seven “The Solicitor” Reynolds divisions held on Tuesday night for 2-year-old colts and geldings on the pace, with purses ranging from $20,636 to $21,036. In addition, there were three divisions of the “Mary Reynolds” Reynolds races for 3-year-old fillies on the trot, with purses from $23,567 to $23,967.

Mc Attaboy (McArdle-Arthion), trained by Steven Cook and driven by Tim Tetrick, followed up wins at Chester in a maiden race and at The Meadows in the PA Stallion Series with his Reynolds win on Tuesday night by two lengths. He paced the mile in 1:53.1 in the night’s very first division, which ended up as the fastest time among the freshman pacers.

Other The Solicitor winners on Tuesday night included Mattacardle (McArdle-Mattadorable, Brett Miller, Rich Gillock) in 1:53.4; Star Recruit (Dragon Again-Remarkable Star, Mike Wilder, Bruce Riegle) in 1:53.3; Easy Again (Dragon Again-Kuklapanandollie, Montrell Teague, George Teague, Jr.) in 1:53.3; Ethan Hanover (Dragon Again-Early Start, Tetrick, Mark Lancaster) in 1:53.4; Terryang Fra (Real Artist-Harlow Hall, Dave Palone, Steve Elliott) in 1:54.2; and Station Threeohsix (Western Terror-Ifuwantitcumngetit, Tetrick, Ray Schnittker) in 1:53.4.

In the Mary Reynolds races, the winners were Too Busy To Care (Chocolatier-Chippies Victory, David Miller, Jonas Czernyson) in 1:55.2; Beatgoesonhanover (Andover Hall-Beat The Wheel, David Miller, Nifty Norman) in 1:54.1; and Tui (Windsong’s Legacy-Four Starz Glide, Anthony Napolitano, Donald Wiest) in 1:55.
