Tucson, AZ — New York tracks and OTBs have been given clearance by the state racing and wagering board to videostream races, starting immediately.

With the new ability to see races they are betting on, New York players are expected to welcome the development in telephone and Internet betting.

Daily Racing Form reported that consent of all OTBs and tracks brought approval, and wagering board president John Sabini said, “We’re very pleased that the major financial stakeholders in New York racing have come together, acting in their common best interests.”
