Toronto, ON — Despite a post 10 start and being parked the entire mile, Miss Dangles with trainer/driver Rick Zeron scored a minor upset to take the C$60,000 Autumn Series final for 3-year-old trotting fillies tonight at Woodbine Racetrack.

Miss Dangles used her patented closing kick to score a victory in 1:56.4.

Closeness (Jody Jamieson) blasted to the lead from post seven and led her rivals past the opening panel in :27.4, ahead of Northern Fragrance (Paul MacDonell). Zeron floated Miss Dangles off the gate looking for position but could never get his charge along the pylons and was eighth on the outside as the field marched towards the half.

Closeness would go unchallenged as she displayed middle-half speed of :57.2 and 1:26.3. Around the final turn, favorite R Tonys Girl (Roger Mayotte) made a costly break in stride and was out of contention. Miss Dangles was fourth-over on the outside and steadily gaining on her rivals.

As the field turned for home, Closeness was still in command until Zeron showed Miss Dangles clear racetrack and the daughter of Conway Hall used her patented closing kick to score the victory in 1:56.4. Closeness hung on for second-over Dead Wrong (Murray Samons).

Owned by Bowl Stables and Daniel Pallay, Miss Dangles posted her seventh career victory.
