Foiled Again was a 1:52.1 winner in the 2010 George Morton Levy final.

It’s the first local appearance by Foiled Again since easily winning May’s $440,000 final of the George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series (his second consecutive Levy victory). Jason Bartlett, who drove that night, is reunited with the 6-year-old Dragon Again gelding from behind the eight ball. Foiled Again enters with $1,977,808 in lifetime earnings.

A week ago, Foiled Again dominated Woodbine’s $100,000 Gold Cup Invitational, matching a life-best in a 1:48.3 effort. For the season, Foiled Again has eight wins, seven seconds and a pair of thirds in 22 starts ($887,535), while racing at 10 different venues. His recent resume includes a win in the $354,000 Quillen Memorial (Harrington) and a runner-up effort to Won The West in the $500,000 Breeders Crown (Pocono).

Psilvuheartbreaker (Cat Manzi, post seven), a millionaire in his own right, has won two of the last three local pacing features. It’s the 206th career start for the 7-year-old Nobleland Sam gelding, presented by the Rock N Roll Heaven connections of owner Frank Bellino and trainer Bruce Saunders.

Yonkers’ current live schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) remains in effect, with first post at 7:10 p.m.
