Toronto, ON — After finishing third in his elimination of the Goldsmith Maid last week to Crys Dream, Michigan, resident D.R. Ackerman wasn’t shy in complimenting the race winner.

“Everybody better get a whole lot better if they want a piece of Crys Dream,” Ackerman told WEG’s media department following last week’s elimination.

Ackerman’s charge, Creme De Cocoa enjoyed a pocket trip behind Crys Dream in her elimination but could not pass the daughter of Tauras Dream who has only one defeat race in her young career.

After being victorious in the C$466,000 Peaceful Way final earlier this year, Crys Dream has earned $345,065 this season for trainer Henrilk Holsten and owner Reve Avec Moi Dreamwithme, Deo Volente Farms LLC, and T L P Stable. Crys Dream will be looking for another large payday as she will start from post four in the C$502,000 final for regular pilot Luc Ouellette.

Creme De Cocoa is a homebred for owner Doug Ackerman Stables Inc. Ackerman also raced both of Creme De Cocoa’s parents, Chocolatier and Judge Judy.

After earning $109,250 earlier this year from a second place effort in the Merrie Annabelle final, Creme De Cocoa has earned $303,080 this season with a 1:56.3 record.

Ackerman will steer his entry on Saturday who was been given morning line odds of 10-1.
