Daley discusses Cedar Dove

Toronto, ON — With the C$502,000 Goldsmith Maid final this Saturday (Nov. 6) at Woodbine Racetrack, New Jersey based horseman Noel Daley is looking for a big performance from his charge, Cedar Dove.

The daughter of Andover Hall finished second in her elimination last week to Crys Dream, who set a new Woodbine track record of 1:55.1. The $55,000 yearling purchase has earned $61,938 this season, posting one lifetime win from five starts.

“She’s as good a baby as we have broken in,” Daley commented to WEG’s media department following last week’s elimination. “She is very, very good. Hopefully we go through next year without any major complications. She definitely has the talent and if she can come back next year half as good as this year then she will be very competitive.”

Owned by John Fielding and Adam Victor and Son Stable, Cedar Dove has been given post 10 in the lucrative final for driver Ron Pierce.
