So Be It wins three of four for VIP Stable, Courbier

by Brett Sturman, for VIP Stable

So Be It p,3,1:52.4 reached the winner’s circle in three of four starts for VIP Stable’s Super Night at Balmoral Park Contest winner Shane Corbier in the month of October. In the only race So Be It did not cross the line first, he finished second.

Besting 140 entries in the contest, Courbier earned a 10 percent share into the horse with no expenses paid for the month of October.

Trained by Kimberly Rinker, So Be It was driven in all four of his starts by top Chicago driver Michael Oosting. After winning the Sept. 18 contest, Courbier had to wait through a sick scratch and then a subsequent judges’ scratch before So Be It would go on to win three of four starts at the non-winners of four, to be claimed for $8,000 level, each time sent off as the race favorite.

Once again, VIP Stable would like to thank all of those who participated and those who helped to make the event the success that it was.
