Breeders Crown to air in HD on MavTV

Wilkes-Barre, PA — Harness racing fans have extra incentive to tune into the Breeders Crown this Saturday (Oct. 9) on MavTV because it will be broadcast in full high definition.

“If any harness racing event deserves the full HD treatment, it’s Breeders Crown,” said Bruce Casella, the show’s Emmy® award winning producer. “We’re going the extra mile to make sure that fans at home get to see it in all its glory.”

The two-hour show starts at 9 p.m. eastern time. It will be re-broadcast on Sunday (Oct. 10) and Thursday (Oct. 14) at 12 noon and 5 p.m.

In addition, a half-hour Breeders Crown preview special will air on Wednesday (Oct. 6) at 7:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., Thursday (Oct. 7) at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Saturday (Oct. 9) at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. prior to the Breeders Crown live show at 9 p.m.

Award winning sports broadcaster Lou Tilley will host alongside racing veterans Steve Ross and Heather Moffett. Western Fair’s new announcer Greg Blanchard, formerly of WEG, will serve as race analyst and Jennifer Sherlock will handle general reporting.
