Vernon, NY — The John Simpson Memorial Stakes for 2-year-olds are scheduled for next Thursday (Oct. 7) and Friday (Oct. 8) at Vernon Downs.

Purses for each sex and gait are estimated at $35,000 (divided) and the draw schedule is as follows:

The filly trot will race on Thursday, Oct. 7, with the entry box to close at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2.

The colt trot, colt pace and filly pace will race on Friday, Oct. 8, with the entry box to close at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
