Dreamfair Eternal rebounds to take Milton Stakes elimination

Campbellville, ON After failing to find the winners circle in her last three attempts, Dreamfair Eternal survived a first-over attack and delivered in the solo elimination of the Milton Stakes stopping the clock in 1:50.4.

Dreamfair Eternal won a solo elimination of the Milton Stakes in 1:50.4.

Southwind Tempo (Tim Tetrick) used post two to her advantage and bursted to the lead before the opening quarter in :27.2. Down the back-stretch, On The Glass (Yannick Gingras) moved out of fourth and was released to take over command before the half in :55.

Before the field headed into the final turn Dreamfair Eternal was forced to commit first-over and was within striking distance of pace-setter On The Glass. As the field turned for home, Dreamfair Eternal took over command to defeat Southwind Tempo with On The Glass third.

With the victory, Dreamfair Eternal lifted her seasonal earnings to $475,320 and career earnings of $1,216,735 for trainer Pat Fletcher and owner John Lamers.
