Fitness Girl and driver Steve Condren defeated heavily favored Cedar Dove to score in 1:56.

Cedar Dove wasted little time off the gate from post five as she sprinted to take command for driver Ron Pierce past the opening panel in :27.4.

Cedar Drive and Pierce faced no challengers and posted middle half speed of :57.1 and 1:26.2. Around the final turn, Condren angled Fitness Girl to the outside but was still not within striking distance of the leader. Down the stretch, Fitness Girl used a large final quarter to upset Cedar Drive and capture the victory.

Cedar Drove stayed for second with Pretty Crafty and driver Trevor Ritchie third.

The daughter of Muscles Yankee now has career earnings of $89,840 for trainer Steve Elliott and owner Bay Pond Racing Stable.

She paid $10.30 for the victory.
