Join SRF for the 2010 Charity Ride/Walk

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — On Sunday, October 17, the Standardbred Retirement Foundation will host a fun-filled Charity Ride/Walk leaving from Sleepy Hollow Stables in New Egypt, N.J., leading onto the trails of the beautiful autumn colored Collier’s Mills.

Join us by tacking up your equine friend, or lacing up your sneakers and hit the trails to benefit the more than 175 horses in need of loving adoptive homes that SRF is caring for.

The day starts at 10 a.m. with registration, complimentary continental breakfast, then on to the trail ride/walk followed by a BBQ lunch for just $3-$5, prizes, raffles and more. Take advantage of the free kids’ corner to help entertain youngsters while parents ride or walk.

Registration is free, but we ask for a minimum of $25 in sponsorship pledges and we would greatly appreciate any item you could bring for the raffle whether equine related or other. There will also be prizes for the top two participants who raise the most sponsor/pledge money.

So join the many horse lovers, riding clubs and other equine enthusiasts and RSVP by October 13 by contacting Dana Letual at 609.324.1500 or e-mail admin@srfmail.com.

For more details on the agenda and to print your pledge form please visit www.adoptahorse.org.

This is a rain or shine event.
