Roy Orbisong equals all-age Harrington track record

Harrington, DE — Daryl Bier’s Roy Orbisong ($13.20) equaled the all-age track record at Harrington Raceway on Monday (August 30), winning the $20,000 Open Pace in 1:50.4.

Roy Orbisong equaled the all-age track record by winning the $20,000 Open Pace in 1:50.4.

The 5-year-old Ft Apache Hanover gelding equaled the mark set by Spirit Of A Shark in 2006. Roy Orbisong is also trained and was driven by Bier.

Sniper Hall set fractions of :27, :55.3 and 1:23 while Roy Orbisong mounted his attack first over. In deep stretch, Roy Orbisong surged by and held off a fast charging Harlingen Hanover for the win. Mystique Cruiser finished third.

Driver Mike Cole won four races on the card. Daryl Bier, Tony Morgan and Ross Wolfenden each won two races.
